Double D Equine Rescue was founded on March 28, 1998 by Larry and Debbie Polasek in an effort to help needy horses. Double D focuses on horses whom have been abused and neglected, or are slaughterbound. "We celebrate each abused horse that is successfully rehabilitated, but there are many many more that need our help."

For the Animals
  DD Rescue.Org site was rescued for Deb and Larry by VirtualWeb FX from a web hosting company going out of business. The original design and layout was created through a web-based page builder. Virtual Web FX moved the entire site to the EarthLink servers. We recoded and reorganized the site and added cgi mail forms, cgi calendar, and other features such as java script navigation design to make the site user friendly. We are also please to do ongoing site maintenance, updates, and technical support for Deb and Larry.
